  What is Bras For A Cause?

Bras For a Cause is a fun evening of music, food, entertainment and auctions, organized by the Northeast Tarrant County Women's Council of Realtors, benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Tarrant County.

  Beautifully decorated bras are premiered in a runway show, modeled by local Firefighters and auctioned off to the roaring, energetic crowd to benefit Susan G. Komen of Tarrant County.  In addition, there will be music, food, entertainment, and silent auction.

50% of the auctioned bras proceeds will be earmarked for local breast cancer awareness programs that directly benefit women in Tarrant County. Last year’s event received national news coverage on CBS and raised $10,000 for the cure! We hope that you will buy your tickets and bring your friends to be a part of this fabulous event. WCR has a lofty goal of raising $20,000 this year and, with your generosity, we can do it!

 the Second Annual BRAS FOR A CAUSE 

Despite having more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors, an estimated 209,060 women and men have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer this year alone, and 40,230 will die. Bras For A Cause  is a one-of-a-kind event that will encourage women and men to be observant of those staggering numbers and their own breast health during October - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month - as well as the rest of their lives.
